Adam trained at Pierce Glynn, qualifying as a solicitor in September 2005. He specialises in representing claimants in applications for judicial review, with a particular interest in helping marginalised communities to assert their entitlement to social and economic rights such as healthcare, housing, community care services and social security. He has written a number of articles for the Legal Action Group journal, and provided training to community organisations, national and international NGOs and medical students at Warwick University. He is a member of Medecins du Monde UK's Advisory Committee, he was short-listed for the Young Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year award in 2007, and he spoke at the British HIV Association annual conference in 2008.
