Biography
Adrian Lower has 18 years’ experience of prosecuting in both the magistrates and crown courts across a wide range of criminal cases, both as a reviewing lawyer and as an advocate. He has headed the CPS South Yorkshire and Humberside Complex Casework Unit, responsible for prosecuting multi-defendant and multi-victim child abuse, complex homicide and large scale drug trafficking. Adrian is currently seconded to CPS Headquarters where he has recently been assisting the Principal Legal Adviser to the Director of Public Prosecutions with her assessment of material relating to alleged phone-hacking at the News of the World. Adrian was appointed a Deputy District Judge in the civil jurisdiction in 2010.
