Biography
Anna Simmonds is Head of Legal Content at CPDcast.
Anna graduated from Durham University with First-Class Honours in Law. Anna studied for the Bar Vocational Course at BPP in London and obtained a 'Very Competent.'
Anna qualified as a barrister in 2010 after successfully completing a criminal pupillage. Anna has experience across the spectrum of criminal law having appeared in the Crown, Magistrates and Youth courts.
Anna has a keen interest in youth justice and is a qualified mentor of young offenders. She is also a trained Youth Justice Board ‘Community Panel Member,' working with young offenders subject to Referral Orders.
Prior to coming to the bar Anna worked in Local Government Housing.
