Barbara has an extensive traditional chancery practice, covering all areas of wills, trusts and probate work. She is also recognised as an authoritative practitioner on the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the jurisdiction of the Court of Protection. Barbara is a contributor to Heywood & Massey: Court of Protection Practice and is in regular demand for speaking engagements within her field of practice.
Barbara speaks French and is happy to accept instructions that have a French element or matters that require the reading of French documents.
She is a member of the ChBA, STEP and the Association of Contentious Trusts and Probate Specialists.
Barbara was recently shortlisted for the Elder Client Law Professional of the Year 2009 in the Step Private Client Awards.
