Biography

Bob will be a trustee of the Foundation.

He has worked in legal advice agencies for over 30 years. He was Director of "Release" from 1974-1982, Chief Executive of the Law Centre in Wandsworth from 1982 to 2007 and is now Chief Executive of the London Legal Support Trust- which he co-founded in 2004- raising funds for legal advice centres in London and the South East. He is a Trustee of Lawworks and of the RCJ Citizens Advice Bureau.

Bob was Chairman of the Law Centres Federation from 1997-2002 and was a founder of "Prisoners Abroad". He created the original pro bono protocol and the template for Lawworks clinics project. He was awarded an MBE in 2000 for "Services to Justice" and received the Lawyer lifetime achievement award in 2002.
