Catherine Howdle is presently working as a référendaire at the Chambers of Advocate General Eleanor Sharpston QC, at the Court of Justice of the European Union. She was the recipient of the Sir Peter Bristow Scholarship in 2006, and worked at the European Commission's Legal Service for a year before starting work in Luxembourg. She specialises in European law and is particularly enthusiastic about European public, administrative and institutional law. Outside of her work she enjoys theatre, sailing and rock climbing.
