Biography
Since completing his pupillage at 5RB, David Hirst has carried out a variety of work in both the High Court and County Court and represented clients at mediations/ADR. David has acted in employment and criminal cases for media organisations, private individuals, companies and pro bono. Since 2005 David has provided pre-publication advice to the major national newspapers and regularly advises a number of film, television, magazine and book publishers on media law and compliance issues.
David has conducted awareness seminars and media law training with charities and publishers.
