Emily graduated from University College London with a 2:1 in Economics and Geography. She converted to Law at City University, gaining a Commendation in the Graduate Diploma in Law. Following the Bar Vocational Course at BPP, Emily has recently completed an LLM in Labour Law at the London School of Economics, obtaining a Distinction.

Emily’s interest lies in civil law and particularly employment law, she has worked as a paralegal in the Employment department at Herbert Smith LLP (involved in high court litigation and transactional work). Emily has also had many successful pro bono cases whilst volunteering for the Free Representation Unit, in both social security appeals and employment claims (including unfair dismissal, disability discrimination, TUPE, whistleblowing and sex discrimination).
