Biography
Emily regularly appears in county courts throughout the country in matters falling within her practice areas. Recently she has acted for insolvency practitioners and bankrupts alike in applications concerning transactions at undervalue and s 14 TOLATA to realise a bankrupt’s interest in the family home. She also advises on contractual disputes of varying sizes. Most recently she has been involved in an application to contest jurisdiction under Council Regulation (EC) 44/2001.
Other aspects of Emily’s practice centre on landlord and tenant and other property related matters, including implied trusts. Emily frequently undertakes drafting of both a contentious and non contentious nature.
Emily is a member of the Chancery Bar Association.
