Biography
Jim Ford, a highly experienced IT and non-contentious IP lawyer, has been a corporate partner in Allen & Overy’s London office since 2008. He has advised on a wide range of transactions in this area including several joint ventures and other long term collaborations. His recent experience includes advising Vernalis on its €18.4 million financing agreement with Paul Capital Healthcare in relation to its frovatriptan product and on its sale of Apokyn to Ipsen .
Jim also has experience advising on other arrangements for the exploitation of IP, including licensing deals, advertising and sponsorship agreements, and taking security over IP.
