Kathryn joined 7 Bedford Row in 2010 after successfully completing pupilage. Kathryn is a civil practitioner specialising in employment and discrimination, regulatory, personal injury and family law, reflecting the multidisciplinary ethos of 7 Bedford Row.
Kathryn is a conscientious and skilled advocate, bringing clarity and an eye for detail to both her written and oral advocacy. Kathryn has vast experience in shepherding difficult and complex cases from the initial advisory stage, through to successful conclusion in court. Her compassionate, caring approach puts clients at ease, and ensures they are fully in the legal process. Kathryn is committed to achieving the best result for every client, be they private individuals, local authorities or major corporate entities.
Kathryn graduated from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, where she won the Sir William McNair Mooting Award. Subsequently she worked in the Philippines as an intern to the Centre for Capital Punishment Studies. On completing her Masters in Public International Law at LSE, Kathryn spent a number of years working for the South East Asia team at Amnesty’s International Secretariat in London. Kathryn is an Astbury Scholar of the Middle Temple, and in 2009 was awarded Middle Temple’s Chrystal MacMillan Award for academic excellence.
