Biography
Initially a solicitor-advocate, Mike Tanney gained 10 years of post-qualification experience before transferring to the bar in 2004. Since then, Mike has built up a successful criminal defence practice, taking on a number of high profile cases and developing expertise in sexual offences defence work. He also regularly appears for the Crown as a trial advocate. In addition to being instructed in major Old Bailey murder trials, Mike has experience in the Court of Appeal.
