This podcast is suitable for family practitioners and those with an interest in children’s law. It aims to familiarise and update the listener with current issues when placing children for adoption with prospective parents who are outside the UK.

It will discuss the statutory procedural requirements for removing a child, the consequences in not following said procedure and ends with a short discussion of recent case law on the suitability assessment criteria for prospective adopters
