This CPDcast is one in a series of podcasts which introduces practitioners to various elements of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014. This CPDcast focuses on human rights issues for tenants and landlords in relation to anti-social behaviour. The aim of this recording is to provide practitioners with: a practical introduction to Article 8 issues which arise in anti-social behaviour; guidance on the new legislation; and an overview of the approach of the courts in cases relating to possession claims.

Outcomes:

  • Appreciate why it is necessary to consider human rights in the context of the new legislation;
  • Understand which human rights principles will apply in relation to the ASBCPA 2014;
  • Have considered how these principles are likely to be applied;
