This podcast is aimed at introducing this new and complex piece of consumer legislation to practitioners. It explains the new language that has evolved from the EC Directive on which the Regulations are based and cross-references with already familiar legal concepts. The sanctions for breach of the Regulations is also examined in addition to the effect that this will have on a consumer law practice.
