This podcast aims to explains the purpose, nature and content of the UK Corporate Governance Code and the UK Stewardship Code. It will addresses the changes brought about by these codes scope of the amendments and considers their significance for those advising on governance and shareholder matters. It will also reviews important features of the UK Corporate Governance Code including those relating to board composition, the chairman’s role, director re-election, risk management, business model and financial strategy and the issue of directors’ remuneration.changes made to the sections of the Combined Code on leadership, the composition and quality of the Board and the tricky issue of remuneration.
