In this podcast Alured Darlington of Hanwell Chambers discusses the impact the new sentencing guidelines for drug offences (published by the Sentencing Council for England and Wales on 24th January 2012) will have on drug mules. Alured specialises in the appeals of drug couriers and received a lifetime achievement legal aid lawyer award in 2007 for his work defending drug mules. He focuses in this podcast on the test cases he has recently brought in relation to the sentencing of drug mules following these changes.
