This podcast aims to serve as an introduction to the process of putting a company into administration. It will explain to listeners the grounds on which an administration order can be sought and by whom. It also aims to compare the out of court procedure used by creditors and directors with the court based route and the respective merits (or drawbacks) of each and when either may be appropriate.
In this podcast James Sheedy addresses the necessary steps for putting a company into administration as part of enforcement proceedings against it. The podcast is both an introduction and a refresher for those who need it on what administration is all about, the appointment of administrators and we’ll examine the court based process to obtain an administration order.
