This CPDcast aims to introduce practitioners to the Insurance Act 2015. The podcasts discusses the key changes introduced by the act, namely: changes in relation to disclosure; changes in certain terms relating to warranties and insurers’ reliance on certain terms; and changes in relation to fraudulent claims. The podcast concludes with some discussion of who the act will effect; how it has been received; and some practical tips which should be noted before the act comes into force in August 2016.
