This podcast aims to highlight to listeners the practical and legal issues which the NFL will face if they opt to establish an NFL franchise in the UK. The podcast considers the unique setup of the NFL and looks at: some practical considerations; an analysis of relevant tax issues, in relation to both income tax and tax on endorsements; a discussion of competition elements in terms of EU law and US antitrust legislation; and some points on immigration and visa issues.
