This podcast aims to give the listener an overview of the procedure as outlined in the 2006 Companies Act of converting a privately held company into a public company limited by shares.
The podcast will start off by looking at the practical issues a company should consider before undertaking an initial offing of shares to the public. It will then look at the court-approved procedure under the 2006 Companies Act and briefly introduce the different markets on which a public company may list.
