In this podcast, Fraser Younson looks at recent developments in the law relating to the transfer of undertakings.

He sets out the circumstances when the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations TUPE will apply and how this has changed following amendments to the Regulations. He then goes on to consider some of the key current questions including: information and consultation around transfers; changes to terms and conditions; dismissals related to TUPE transfers and redundancies. He also looks at practical steps that employers can take in order to comply with the rules.
