It will examine in detail the new requirements relating to statements of capital, reporting, share allocation and capital reductions and compare them to the 1985 Act provisions.

This podcast focusses on the introduction of a new statement of capital procedure and the circumstances in which such a statement will be required. Consideration is also given to the procedure for reducing or altering capital and the new self-help solvency statement which will be discussed in more detail in Part 2.
