This course provides the listener with a guide to the statutory framework for underage sex and focuses primarily on the rise in 'statutory rape' charges. Factors relevant to the CPS decision to charge a child with a sexual offence are regarded, which provide assistance to any practitioner wishing to challenge such a decision by way of judicial review.
