This podcast aims to look at the role of W&I insurance in M&A transactions and the current trends in the M&A market following the financial crisis. It will set out how W&I insurance cover works and what benefits it can bring to a particular transactions. The second half of this podcast will be focussed on the state of the current M&A market with a mergers partner at an international law firm. That section of the podcast will look at the structures of the deals that are coming through, what financing such deals are able to secure and how risk is being mitigated by the parties to a merger.
