This podcasts aims to introduce the idea of whistleblowing in a sporting context. Over the course of this CPDcast listeners will hear about: whistleblowing in general; why whistleblowing in sport is important; how it is currently being handled by sporting bodies and organisations; what more can be done both to encourage whistleblowing and to protect whistleblowers; the issues with legal proceedings arising out of information provided by someone blowing the whistle; and a brief overview of how WADA has approached whistleblowing in its new code.
