CPDcast Ltd. is a privately owned UK company.
Established in 2006, we were first to market with the CPD podcasting concept for legal professionals and now record more than 20 broadcast-quality CPDcasts a month using some of the UK’s top legal minds.
We have an office (with an in-house recording studio) in the world famous Hatton Garden diamond district and are conveniently located just a short walk from the Inns of Court and the heart of the UK’s legal hub.

Facilities: In-house recording studio
To guarantee the high-audio and production qualities for which we have become world renowned we have a custom-designed in-house recording studio.
We use only the finest broadcast quality equipment and our professionally trained sound engineers use time-honoured techniques and processes to create high-quality, CPD podcasts which are easy to listen to yet ultra-informative.

The Software: Fast, reliable, safe and easy to use
Given the radical and cutting-edge nature of our product, to have used ‘off the shelf’ software would undoubtedly have done the concept a disservice.
To this end, the CPDcast.com software has been built from scratch to match our exacting requirements by our in-house technology team. It is built using the very latest software methodologies and has been planned from the outset to automate the workflow of recording, monitoring and serving CPD podcasts.
Our website and podcast delivery software is built on the latest Symfony framework and runs on industry-standard LAMP architecture. The software is hosted on our own custom-specified infrastructure in London’s Docklands and is fast, resilient and scalable. We have detailed disaster recovery mechanisms and hardware redundancy in place and our servers feature actively-monitored intrusion protection and 256bit encryption for maximum data integrity.
Our People: The management team
Daniel Mohacek, Managing Director
Daniel is a former board director of leading European Search Marketing agency The Search Works and prior to that, ran Yahoo! UK’s Search Engine Marketing Channel.
Daniel has over 12 years experience in the design, build and marketing of enterprise grade software and is regularly called upon to provide comment in the internet press. Daniel has day to day responsibility for the company.
Steve Gibbons, Partner
Steve is a leading commentator on domestic and international labour law. Steve was formerly Head of Employment Law at Income Data Services and has a lifetime of experience in the sector. Steve focuses on Business Development for CPDcast.
George Roberts, Operations Manager
George runs day to day operations for CPDcast. He manages the scheduling of recordings and oversees the work of our sound engineers and content procurement team.
George has responsibility for CPDcast’s relationship with the SRA and the Bar Standards Council.
