As part of CPDcast®'s ongoing commitment to improving the standards of legal training, we're now offering free unlimited access to our library of CPDcasts to all students and their academics. As well as access to over 300 CPDcasts, we've also teamed up with The City Law School to record a series of student-specific podcasts to act as educational guides and an introduction to the legal profession.
If you're considering a career in law or are studying towards a legal qualification then free access to CPDcast has been created just for you. Designed to be digestible and accessible, our CPDcasts will help you understand the value of a qualification in law whilst offering another education resource in a format you already know how to use.
CPDcast and The City Law School:
Established in 2006, CPDcast were first to market with the CPD podcasting concept for legal professionals and now record more than 20 broadcast-quality CPDcasts a month using some of the UK’s top legal minds. Each CPDcast is designed to qualify for continuing professional development credit for solicitors, barristers and legal executives – guaranteeing the relevance and quality of our content.
Established in 1852, The City Law School is one of London’s major law schools, offering an impressive range of academic and professional programmes. It is the first law school in London to educate students and practitioners at all stages of legal education. Its distinguished history charts a long commitment to new ideas and innovation in the study and practice of law.

By registering for a CPDcast student account, not only will you qualify for unlimited access to our library you can also listen to a series of podcasts recorded specifically for students by leading experts from The City Law School. There are eight podcasts in total and each one has been created to give you a taste of what to expect as a postgraduate student at the School. As a registered user, you'll find these student podcasts at the top of the CPDcast library when you log-in.

Unlimited access to CPDcast is available to all students with a valid student email address.
To qualify for free access, you must have a valid student email address, for example addresses which end in .ac.uk or .edu, and a secondary non-student email address (hotmail, gmail, yahoo etc). For our full list of valid student email addresses please see our FAQs page.
